They are really pushing the new X-Men: Days of Future Past hard, aren’t they? Not that I’m necessarily complaining, since the movie looks pretty good and the last two X-Men films have more than made up for the unmentionable third movie. I’m just saying, they had me in their back-pocket since the first trailer, now they’re just gilding the lily. Although I would say that Quicksilver‘s costume just looks … weird to me. Although I think a big part of it is the fact that super speed is just one of those powers that’s incredibly tricky to pull off in live-action. Seriously, I defy you to name one movie where super speed didn’t film as awkward and goofy.
