A few months back, Lady Gaga was all set and ready to release the music video for her single with R. Kelly, ARTPOP‘s “Do What U Want.” But wouldn’t you know it, this happened to coincide with a scathing report on how R. Kelly was systematically targeting young black women, and the video (catch a thirty-second clip below) just sort of disappeared while Gaga tweeted some vague, cryptic things about betrayal or art or whatever. Well, now Page Six is reporting that the real reason behind the video’s total disappearance was that it was one big sexual assault movie starring R. Kelly and directed by controversial photographer and known pervert Terry Richardson …
According to our source, Kelly plays a doctor in the video, with Gaga acting as his patient in scenes that riff on her real-life hip injury last year. Gaga asks Kelly, “Will I ever be able to walk again?” The singer replies, “Yes, if you let me do whatever I want with your body.” The not-so-good doctor then adds, “I’m putting you under, and when you wake up, you’re going to be pregnant.” Alrighty, then! A source told us, “Gaga had a video directed by an alleged sexual predator, starring another sexual predator. With the theme, ‘I’m going to do whatever I want with your body?’ It was literally an ad for rape.”
The sad thing is, even if the video didn’t star R. Kelly, the guy accused of doing all of this, and even if Richardson wasn’t directing, the idea behind the video would still be seriously messed up. Seriously, did they just imply in the video that R. Kelly is going to give Gaga drugs to knock her out, then impregnate her when she’s unconscious? Oh they did? Because I’m pretty sure there’s a word for that.
