Imagine yourself at the grocery store, you go to check out and standing before you is hottie Josh Duhamel … what would you do?! I’d immediately start sweating and would probably be at loss for words! He’s totally gorgeous and seems to be a pretty nice guy and of course I adore his wife Fergie (who’s getting ready to have their baby soon) too! The folks over at Diet Pepsi decided to put Josh in a Los Angeles grocery store this past Friday where he surprised some unsuspecting shoppers while helping to promote Diet Pepsi (I do like Pepsi, but not a big fan of diet sodas in general), proving fun things can happen when you indulge with some cola action! Ever wondered what it would be like to get checked out by Josh Duhamel? A few lucky Diet Pepsi shoppers found out this past Friday at a grocery store in Los Angeles. Going incognito as a store employee, Josh caught shoppers off-guard by “checking them out” (at the register, of course) to prove fun things can happen when you choose a Diet Pepsi. From popping up at the register to corralling (and riding in) shopping carts to stocking shelves with Diet Pepsi, Josh leveraged his improv comedy chops to bring laughter and surprise to unsuspecting shoppers all day long. Actual shopper reactions and interactions with jokester Josh were all captured (thanks to an elaborate hidden camera set-up!) for a new Diet Pepsi video.
“I had a blast ‘checking out’ Diet Pepsi fans at the cash register, it was like hosting my own candid camera!” Duhamel joked. “Seeing the surprised reactions in real-time was really fun and I hope we gave a lot of shoppers a great story to tell their friends and family.”
