Tori Amos‘ stellar new album, Unrepentant Geraldines (iTunes), is easily one of my favorites releases of 2014—definitely Tori’s best outing since 2007’s (underrated) American Doll Posse. The lead single, “Trouble’s Lament,” turned out to be a perfect choice to jumpstart Tori’s Unrepentant Geraldines era. Here’s the brand-new music video that completely works for the song (about trouble always on the prowl for someone to torment), simple yet perfect. Although I’m not used to seeing Tori rock glasses, girlfriend carrys it off quite well plus it appears (as per her latest Instagram pics) she has dozens of styles to choose from … just like her extensive shoe collection. Tori is currently on tour in Europe supporting the new album and will soon be in the states—I can’t wait to find out which songs she’ll play (every Tori show has a different setlist) when she swings by Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre in July.
