It also helps that he’s on the cover of Men’s Health, talkin’ ’bout losing thirty pounds — and he doesn’t mean by taking off his giant fake boobs. How did he do it? His hour long morning circuit routine included cardio, body-weight moves, free-weights and cable work. He spent his afternoons practicing Krav Maga, an Israeli martial art.
While the weight loss is impressive, people who lose weight most commonly say they feel a greater sense of self empowerment. “I walk into a room with a lot more confidence,” he says. “All my life I’ve tried to hide my height. I was taller than everybody else and stood out, so I would slouch and try to hide it,” says Perry, who is 6-foot-6. “But with what I’ve been able to do with my body, I’m owning it. I’m standing up when I walk into a room.”
