The first installment of The Amazing Spider-Man was actually a surprisingly good superhero flick, given that the one that preceded it (Spider-Man 3) ate a bucket of dicks. Well, we might have a tiny problem here, because The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (in theaters next May) seems to be borrowing a smidge too much from Spider-Man 3. Case in point: There are three villains, because that worked so well the first time, and also Rhino is a Jaeger or something? I’m concerned is all.
