The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have always been characters whose looks just didn’t translate well in real life. Shockingly, mutant reptiles tend to be cuter when they’re hand-drawn than when they’re rendered in real life, where they plummet into the uncanny valley and claw their way into your subconscious.
