As many of you probably already know, I’m a proud Toriphile (aka an extremely dedicated Tori Amos fan), and today I finally got to hear her new album Unrepentant Geraldines (due out on May 13th, pre-order on iTunes). At first I wasn’t sure what to think but after a couple of listens (the album is experienced best initially with a pair of headphones), I’ve been taken over, it’s brilliant and definitely reminds me why I feel in love with this red-headed siren back in 1992! Tori’s last two releases (Night of Hunters, Abnormally Attracted To Sin) didn’t quite connect with me as much all of her previous albums (I’m still quite partial to Boys For Pele and From The Choirgirl Hotel), so I couldn’t be more thrilled that I’ve fallen head over heels for Tori’s 14th studio album. A few weeks ago I posted the audio for Unrepentant Geraldines‘s lead single, “Trouble’s Lament” (a perfect choice), now here’s the lyric video. The music video shot over in London will be debuting in a few weeks—stay tuned.
