By now you’ve probably heard that Julianne Moore is going to be playing Sarah Palin in an upcoming HBO movie, because apparently playing Palin is the closest Americans can get to winning an award for playing British royalty (Wow, that bummed the hell out of me). Anyway, Tina Fey, who played the most iconic version of Palin, weighed in on the upcoming role.
Access Hollywood caught up with the cast of NBC’s 30 Rock as they celebrated the 100th episode of their Emmy Award-winning comedy in New York City on Thursday, where they gave Julianne their stamp of approval. “I’m imagining it will be a very different tone,” Tina, whose impression of the former Alaska Governor on Saturday Night Live, is regarded as comedy gold, told Access. “She’s a great choice. She’s a great actress,” she continued. “If she needs my wig, I have it. It’s at SNL.” SOURCE
In all fairness, I can’t imagine it would be all that hard to play her. Basically, just imagine the self-righteous bitch from church, only imagine what would happen if you gave her millions of dollars and allowed her to run for vice president. Throw in some glasses and write a couple talking points on her hand and you’re pretty much set.
