It’s pretty often that I see a celebrity acting like a spoiled brat/prostitution whore, I usually chalk it up to a famewhoring stage-mom and a willing participant. Well, Taylor Momsen sat down in an interview and pretty much outright said that her mother sold her into showbiz when she was two-years-old and now she’s basically going out of her way to piss off the epic failure she calls “Mom”.
“Everyone’s like, ‘Wow, why is she upset and why is she so miserable about things?’ My parents signed me up with Ford [modeling agency] at the age of two. No 2-year-old wants to be working, but I had no choice.” Momsen, now 17, continued, “My whole life, I was in and out of school. I didn’t have friends. I was working constantly and I didn’t have a real life.” SOURCE
Great, now I just feel bad for every time I called Taylor a child prostitute. Or a spoiled bitch. Or the thousands of other names I’ve called her. Yeesh. As it turns out, she’s just trying to make her mother’s life a living hell for selling her into the country’s only legal form of child labour. Well, you win this round of Taylor; from now on, if you do something wrong, I’ll just write about how your mother failed at being a parental figure and then say something about she’s an idiot or has a saggy lifeless vagina.
