the garage sale…

hey y’all! oh i’ve had a long day – i was up bright and early prepping for the local blogger garage sale which was a blast – although it did get a bit hot – i think everyone involved and those who passed through had fun! hosted by the sassy willam belli (who you may know as ‘cherry peck’ from nip/tuck) the set-up was really nice and there was plenty of room for us to lay our stuff/junk out – i mainly had books (by the end i was basically giving them away for free to those who wanted them…) but there were some other great items (dan renzi had some old tom of finland stuff which went first to one very eager customer – he cut right to the chase…how much for all of it?)

best of all was being able to hang out with some other bloggers (carly, cybele, jason, peggy, chad) who understand the many trials & tribulations of being in the blogosphere – one topic was what do you do with nasty comments? if it’s just an opposite opinion – fine – but when people want to be mean spirited for no good reason – we do have the power to exercise the delete key! we also all agreed that getting in a blog slump is a completely normal occurence! things did get a little crazy when in the spirit of promotion dan donned a pair of tap shoes and a purple viking cap w/ blonde braids & willam got his fat suit and stiletto heels on and they paraded up to melrose w/ a sign to rope some people in…that is the picture you see below – it was too funny! dan also put on black vinyl chaps & silver short shorts near the end which he did look totally adorable in but sadly no pics of that…

then i came home to finish my cleaning and ridding of more shit i have laying around – oi vey it’s a lot of work but the place is starting to finally look less cluttered – woo hoo! i hope everyone is having a good weekend so far…two more days! rock & blog on people – check you all laters – xxoo!
