Okay, so real talk here: As much as people regard the Oscars as the be-all, end-all for film excellence, 2014 MTV Movie Awards have a pretty decent track record. See what I mean? They saw a smart, well-made and incredibly polished movie for teens that didn’t talk down to them or send stupid mixed-signals, and rewarded it. Let it never be said that MTV doesn’t have decent taste in movies. And they gave an award to Marky Mark‘s third nipple! Genius!
