Remember when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made a crack at Taylor Swift‘s expense during the Golden Globes two months ago? Well, you can bet your ass that Taylor does. She probably wrote their names on her Trapper Keeper, went home, and jabbed a bunch of pins in a voodoo doll before telling all her friends that Amy and Tina are bitches who don’t even know what they’re talking about. In fact, here she is telling Vanity Fair that she believes Tina and Amy are going to hell for making fun of her.
“You know, Katie Couric is one of my favorite people,” Taylor Swift tells Vanity Fair contributing editor Nancy Jo Sales on the subject of mean girls in general and in response to an incident at this year’s Golden Globes, where Amy Poehler and Tina Fey mocked her highly scrutinized love life. “Because she said to me she had heard a quote that she loved, that said, ‘There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.’”
Has Taylor ever considered that maybe Tina and Amy are two of the most widely-renowned, beloved, and critically-acclaimed feminist celebrities currently working? And maybe, just maybe, they made fun of Taylor because she, as a person, is a douche? Not because she’s a woman, but because she, as a human being, is irritating and Taylor’s little victimization act, makes her look like an a-hole?
