It’s not like motherhood has a strict list of things you absolutely HAVE to do, but I think teaching your daughter to love herself is one of those things you kind of have to do. At the very least, you don’t say (or even THINK) that your nine-year-old daughter is ugly and needs cosmetic surgery.
