After months of wanting to see Capitol Records recording artist Sky Ferreira perform live, I finally got the chance to the see her on the first night of two sold out shows held at Los Angeles’ Bootleg Theater (which is quickly becoming one of my favorite local venues). Sky has been on the pop music scene for a couple of years now but lately she’s been making a splash with her latest stellar EP release, Ghost (iTunes), which features the stunning single, “Everything Is Embarrassing.” I thought Sky did a very decent job with her hour-long performance, she still needs some sharpening but her potential is huge. I totally adore Sky’s vulnerable and shy style plus she’s so damn cute, without a doubt she’s someone to keep your eyes on.
