simon curtis: just a boy and his 8bit heart!

over the past few months i’ve been noticing tons of buzz on twitter (from my tweep buddies stephenferosh and muumuse) about this boy named simon curtis, so last week when he released his debut album 8bit heart – i had to find out what all the fuss was about – i’m so glad i did! his album (which he’s giving away for FREE via download) is totally incredible – an amazingly solid and tight assembly of pure pop music (he even got jay-z to lend his vocals to a track – score!) it’s one of the best releases i’ve heard all year! plus as i’m sure you’ve noticed – i have a thing for female music artists and rarely feature male-made music – so you know mr. curtis must be something special! (and he happens to be super adorable!) have a listen to one of my favorite tracks diablo below (can you spot the britney spears reference?) then head over to his website and download the entire album – gratis – please make sure to spread the good word about simon! it’s pretty amazing that he’s been able to gather all this buzz without the aid of an agent, manager or record label – the music industry needs to take notice of mr. curtis ASAP – he’s simply bound to be huge! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
