This afternoon I took myself to see Scream 4, I hadn’t seen a movie in months and I was itching for something fun and a break from reality, this fit the bill perfectly! It’s been ten years since Scream 3, and I’m thrilled the franchise is back, stronger than ever. It wasn’t mind-blowing or genre changing by any means but it’s such a good time. Thankfully Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox reprised their now infamous roles, without them the movie wouldn’t have been nearly as good. Plus some of the newcomers were decent, especially Emma Roberts. Apparently there are two sequels in the works, I’m totally up for more of ‘Sydney Prescott’. Kudos to director Wes Craven for still being on top of his game, you won’t be disappointed, definitely catch this one in theaters and be prepared to SCREAM.
