All right, real talk here: I’ll never understand America’s obsession with people who can swim really fast. It just boggles my mind, it really does. I mean yeah, they’re Olympians, that’s pretty cool, but they’re kinda devoid of personality (see: Michael Phelps‘ SNL hosting stint) and the love affair usually wanes after everyone realizes that swimming is actually super boring to watch.
