hey hey! this past tuesday evening i finally got to see regina spektor live in concert at los angeles’ el rey theatre – i had been frantically looking for a single ticket and i didn’t think i’d get to see the show but at the very last second (2.5 hours before she took to the stage) a lovely person came through with a ticket – i totally got super lucky! as i suspected ms. spektor put on an amazing show and sounded simply incredible live – thankfully she’s coming back to the LA area at the end of october – and will be doing another show at the greek theatre! (i most likely will be there) if you haven’t picked up her new album far (itunes) you must – it’s excellent – below you’ll find the brand new video for her second single eet (also watch the video for laughing with – the first single) she definitely reminds me a drop of my darling tori amos – but for sure puts her own quirky spin on things – i’m so happy i got to see regina do her thing up close & personal! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
