Okay, personal story here, if only because it actually applies to this post: A couple months back, the now-defunct pizza place right next door to my apartment was turned into a New York pizza parlor. They cleaned it up, put Manhattan street signs up on the stop signs at the intersection … everything. I walked by it twice and had no idea what they were doing. A few months later, I find out Kick-Ass 2 (due out in August) was actually filming in Toronto and they were shooting a scene there. You can even see shots of Yonge Street in the new trailer, as well as a quick shot of the pizza parlor scene they were filming. YES, REALLY. They were filming Kick-Ass 2 right next door from where I live, and I had no idea. Well, I feel like a dumbass, especially since the first trailer for it looks just absolutely amazing.
