popbytes loves corpse bride!

hey boys & girls – did anyone else see the corpse bride? i caught it over the weekend on DVD – i fell in love instantly – director tim burton (co-directing with mike johnson) did an awesome job as always (except for big fish – i just didn’t care for that movie…) the corpse storyline was just adorable – plus there are some great musical numbers – besides all that jazz the movie just looked so cool – i adore that style of animation – my favorite character was indeed the ‘corpse bride’ – she was adorable but i did feel bad for her…she just wanted a little love even though she had already passed onto the other side…both johnny depp and helena bonham carter did a superb job of lending voices & life to these oh so interesting characters…

the film also reminded me a great deal of one of my favorite burton films 1988’s beetlejuice – i can watch that time & time again! day-o! i so love winona ryder as the morose ‘lydia’ and catherine o’hara as the eccentric ‘delia’…anyways for sure do check out the corpse bride it just hit stores on DVD yesterday! popbytes over & out for tonight – i am pretty busy in the next few days as my parents are coming to town – but no worries – of course i will be posting daily! xxoo!
