Mother-to-be Pink makes an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, November 17th. The singer confirms to the talk show host that she and biker husband Carey Hart are expecting their first child.

Pink confirms she’s pregnant…

Ellen: Seriously, why do you think you’re glowing?

Pink: Oh, so many reasons. That’s it? That’s the question?

Ellen: That’s it.

Pink: I’m eating for two these days.

Pink reveals why she kept pregnancy a secret until now…

Pink: I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have
had a miscarriage before but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was
going to be with you.

Ellen: Well, thank you very much. I’m just really, really happy for you.

Pink on expecting a girl…

Ellen: So was this planned?

Pink: I worked for it.

Ellen: Oh I bet.

Pink: It was not an “Oops.”

Ellen: That’s fantastic. Do you know if it’s a boy or a girl? Do you want to know?
Are you going to find out?

Pink: I don’t think I want to know but the doctor kind of told me what she thinks.
I’m terrified because she thinks it’s a girl.
Ellen: You’re going to get payback? Is that what you’re worried about?

Pink: My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified one of us
will go to jail.

On why the doctor says it’s a girl…

Ellen: Why does she think it’s a girl?

Pink: On the ultrasound, she thought she saw a slit.

Pink on her relationship with husband Carey Hart…

Ellen: It seems like you’re back with your husband. And things are better than ever.

Pink: Yes. Better than ever.

Ellen: Do you feel like you needed time apart?

Pink: I do. I never had anything in my life that I didn’t work hard for and my
relationship is that. We worked really hard and we had our little meltdowns, a
couple of them, and now, we’re honestly, we both needed to do that and come back
together. It’s just yummy.
