oh the golden globes…

hey hey! so last year around this time there were a lot of festive golden globe award happenings (i even live blogged them in ’07) but this year turned out to be a total bummer! of course i support the writers but this year i really missed seeing the awards live with all the stars & red carpet fanfare – especially since the ceremony is a bit more casual than the oscars – and usually more fun too! (don’t forget the celebs are served drinks along with dinner!) tonight’s awards were reduced to an hour long press conference – which i didn’t bother to watch – how boring! below is the list of winners – i so need to go see the diving bell and the butterfly which nabbed ‘best foreign picture’ and director julian schnabel took the top directing honor! and even though nikki blonsky didn’t win for hairspray – i’m thrilled marion cotillard took the award for la vie en rose – she’s brilliant in the true life story of french singer edith piaf! anyways tomorrow it’s back to the daily grind – oh good times! popbytes over & out for tonight…xxoo!
