Apparently planking is so yesterday, it’s all about fridging now, a hot new trend started by rap diva superstar Nicki Minaj (thanks to sexy outtake from a Glamour magazine photo shoot)! Everyone seems to be partaking in the fun, including Jersey Shore famewhore Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi who stuffed her orange self into a mini-fridge (pictured below). So stop planking and put your ass into the fridge ASAP (but please do not lock yourself in), get in on the action before everyone and their mom starts doing it!
Nicki Minaj was a staple in the front row at NYFW and we know what she was tweeting about while waiting for the shows to start. First, a fan tweeted an outtake from Nicki’s fashion shoot featured in Glamour’s October issue. Next, Nicki retweeted it, coined the name “fridging,” and the trend was born! Countless people are now posting pictures of themselves (and even their cats and teddy bears) in their refrigerators of twitter and it is being hailed as the new “planking.” Even Jersey Shore’s Snooki is on board with her post-tanning fridging pic.
