To say that I have a crush on NeNe Leakes would be an understatement. I love the Real Housewives of Atlanta star more than I’ve ever loved any reality TV personality ever (which is actually saying a lot since I’ve never missed a single minute of Tiffany “New York” Pollard’s outstanding television career). What can I say – I have a thing for sassy ladies who have no problem popping-off on dumb ass bitches (“Go to sleep, WIG”). My idea of heaven is a 24-7 reality show where all everyone does it fight and all I do is eat popcorn on my couch.
But NeNe Leakes has moved far beyond that off-the-cuff deliciousness of the past. She’s now a serious actress, guesting on Glee and starring as Rocky in NBC’s The New Normal (Tuesdays, 9:30/8:30c). Lucky for us, both of those characters are no-nonsense windstorms, meaning we still get all the best parts of NeNe without having to see those haters. And lucky for me, actress NeNe goes on press tours, meaning I got to interview my favorite lady!
