Neil Patrick Harris hosted the Tonys again

Neil Patrick Harris

Here at Popbytes we like to think that we’re cultured and sophisticated. Which is of course a total lie. Honestly, in the time it took me to type out that last sentence, I burped, then asked my boyfriend if it was weird that I obsessively check our toilet for giant spiders. We’re about as refined and elegant bathtub moonshine. But we do love the Tony Awards, that yearly celebration of all things theatrical and gay. And this year, Neil Patrick Harris returned to host for a third time, once again, his opening bit was pretty much the best part of the entire tonight, if only because it featured Patti LuPone and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and a troop of overly-enthusiastic dancers singing “We don’t pee!” As I said before: refined and elegant.
