More on Drag Race’s most shocking disqualification

During the season finale of last year’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, Ru and Willam revealed to the audience that Willam was disqualified for riding the man train to Poundtown, U.S.Gay. after her hubby tracked her down. And then we all shrugged our shoulders, went “Oh, okay then.” Well now, according to a new interview RuPaul did with Fenuxe, Willam actually had a computer with her and was using it to talk to people outside the show, which is apparently kind of a no-no.

OK, now what happened to Willam?
Well … *nervous laugh* … several things happened but the big thing was that she broke the rules. We take away cell phones, computers, all outside contact and … well, Willam had a computer and outside contact. You just can’t do that.

For the record, Willam went into the comment thread of the article to tell her side of the story:

NO. Article is wrong. I told them I had a computer that was stolen in order to get “kicked off.” Didn’t anyone notice the timeline that i was doing an off broadway show the same time the show was IN PRODUCTION? I left to do it. I tried to get kicked off the 2nd episode and 5th too and they didn’t.

Wait, what? Now it’s a computer instead of some good ol’ fashion peen? I’m confused. I mean either way, what’s done is done, so regardless of why Willam was eliminated, she and the show are still doing pretty well. I’m just going to chalk this one up as letting by-gones be by-gones.
