Remember how a little while ago, Miley Cyrus was spotted with a ring on her finger, and everyone guess that she was engaged? Well, turns out she really is! Liam Hemsworth has reportedly popped the question, so it looks like he and Miley will be getting married, whether this will be of the shotgun variety is yet to be seen! People magazine reports:
Miley Cyrus and Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth are engaged to be married after three years of dating, their reps confirm to People exclusively. “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Cyrus, 19, tells People. Australian actor Hemsworth, 22, who met Cyrus when they costarred in The Last Song in 2009, proposed on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from jeweler Neil Lane.
First off, congratulations to the two of them! We’re all happy for them, we really are. The only thing is … well, they might be a bit young. I’ll be the first to say that Miley is pretty mature for her age, but fact of the matter is, she’s only nineteen. NINETEEN (plus he’s young at 22). Look, if they want to get married? More power to them. But all I’d say is that it would help if they waited a bit longer before they made any life-long commitments, although let’s see if they actually make it down the aisle, engagements can be broken.
