UPDATE: Sinéad penned a THIRD open letter, this time threatening Miley with legal action!
Yesterday, Sinéad O’Connor wrote a slut-shaming open letter to Miley Cyrus and it somehow managed to break the web because apparently, it was a slow day for pictures of cats and porn. Well, Miley has since responded exactly how you think she would: Nudity (via new shots taken by Terry Richardson) and comparing Sinéad to Amanda Bynes on Twitter!

Fantastic, we have two people using slut-shaming and mental illness to bash each other in the name of feminism. I’d say something about how they completely missed the point of what they’re actually fighting over, but at this point this has turned into an all out flame-war, so I’m just gonna sit here and side-eye the two of them while Sinead writes another open letter because that worked the first time.
I am staggered that any 20 yr old woman of the 21st century could behave in such a dangerous and irresponsible manner as to not only send the signal to young women that its ok to act like prostitutes but also to the signal that those who have suffered or do suffer mental health problems are to be mocked and have their opinions invalidated. Have you no sense of danger at all? or responsibility? Remove your tweets immediately or you will hear from my lawyers. I am certain you will be hearing from all manner of mental health advocacy groups also. It is not acceptable to mock any person for having suffered.
And I’m done here. Neither one can claim the moral high-ground at this point, and continuing this stupid feud only makes themselves and their cause look worse.
