This week’s mashup takes two totally opposite genres (reggae and alternative rock), and turns it in to a new genre of its own, called awesome! Netherlands bootlegger G3RST (pronounced Gerst) saw the light and melds Jamaica (Bob Marley) with the Bay Area (Green Day) with flawless ease. Play it loud and stand up! I dedicate this mashup to International Women’s Day, for everyone who disagrees with Rush Limbaugh’s vile and misogynist comments, and to all the Republican candidates using religion as a weapon again women and gay people!
