ever since i got my hands on marina and the diamonds‘ debut album the family jewels – i haven’t been able to turn it off – there’s been a number of superb music releases over the past few months but this one trumps them all – although it’s only july – i’m ready to proclaim it as my top favorite album of 2010! tomorrow night is their west coast debut (sold out!) show at the troubadour (where i first saw lily allen back in ’06) i will be there along with my blogger buddy trent (and tons of ‘hipsters’) i really hope it will be a stellar show – look for a review later on this week! right now watch the video for mowgli’s road – one of the many kick-ass tracks! popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
