OMG! Best news ever! This just in … Mariah Carey will be a judge on the upcoming 12th season of American Idol. This comes hot on the heels of both Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler‘s departure from the show after just two seasons. I don’t know how much FOX is paying Mariah to get on board but it seriously must be a lot, girlfriend is totally getting paid, probably more than Lopez and Tyler combined. It’s definitely money well-spent since the reality competition show has been in decline ever since Simon Cowell jumped ship a few years ago. Stay tuned for more on this breaking story!
