Although it was supposed to officially drop on Monday, here’s Katy Perry‘s new single, “Roar,” which leaked onto the web early this morning! I think it’s decent enough (a lot of people are comparing it to Sara Bareilles‘ “Brave”) but am I blown away by it? No. Does it break new ground? No. Yet I do think it’s perfect choice (a Dr.Luke & Bonnie McKee collaboration) for the lead single off Katy’s upcoming album Prism. However great Prism might turn out to be, there’s simply no way Katy can top her previous effort, Teenage Dream, which is seriously one of the most perfectly crafted pop albums ever!
