I kept seeing the word HAIM mentioned all over Twitter recently so I finally had to find out what all the fuss was about, I’m totally glad I did, but I wish I had investigated earlier! HAIM is an LA-based rock band composed of three sisters (Este, Danielle and Alana Haim) and drummer Dash Hutton. Their first big song “Forever” was released last summer (off the EP Forever), now the band just dropped one of the hottest singles around called “The Wire” which you can listen to below, it’s super catchy and a welcome change from all the purely pop stuff I’ve been listening to lately. I hope I can catch HAIM on October 18th when they play over in Pomona at The Glass House, I bet they’re amazing live!
