Earlier today, a duet Miley Cyrus did with Britney Spears (for her upcoming album Bangerz, now streaming on iTunes) leaked onto the web because apparently no one in Hollywood can bother encrypting their sh!t. Or they just use that as an excuse for some cheap publicity beforehand. Six of one, half a dozen of the other really. Anyway, “SMS (Bangerz)” sounds like Salt N’ Pepa leftovers, although the more crushing matter is that this is in no way indicative of where Miley’s life is going. They’re two completely different people. Britney was a Disney sanctioned Christian good girl who shed her image while performing at the MTV VMAs and eventually spiraled into a mental breakdown, and Miley is a Disney sanctioned Christian good girl who shed her image while performing at the MTV VMAs and … oh.
