Oh my gosh, I love singer/songwriter Linda Perry (who many of you will remember from 4 Non Blondes), she’s written huge hits for Pink, Christina Aguilera, Courtney Love, Alicia Keys, and Gwen Stefani to name just a few. I saw her play live a few years back at House of Blues (with Ms. Love) on Sunset Blvd and literally put on one of the best live shows I’ve ever seen, no joke! Last June Linda announced she would be working on an album with her new band, Deep Dark Robot (with Tony Tornay), and just last week the album (8 Songs About A Girl) was finally released. Check out the music video below for the lead single, Won’t You Be My Girl?, I think the song is fantastic, along with Ms. Perry! She’s playing at The Roxy (April 21st) here in Los Angeles next month, and you can bet your bottom dollar I will totally be there, I know it’s going to be another killer show from Linda and her band!
