So apparently, not every celebrity dropped everything this week to pass judgment on a meth-addicted crazy person shouting at an audience about gay people, as singer Lily Allen got herself married to Sam Cooper, over the weekend. Oh, and she’s pregnant too …
Saturday was doubly joyful for Lily Allen — the British singer married her boyfriend of two years, Sam Cooper, in England, and now, a rep for Lily has confirmed to People that the newlyweds are expecting a child. Lily’s wedding dress designer, Delphine Manivet, also confirmed the happy news, calling the “Smile” singer’s pregnancy “wonderful.”
“It’s beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her. She is very happy about that – it is something wonderful,” the French designer told the UK’s The Daily Telegraph on Saturday. “For me, and for her too, when you’re pregnant you want to show that, but also be respectful, so the dress was perfect for her for that moment.” SOURCE
Well congrats to her on her wedding, and I really hope for the best when it comes to her pregnancy, especially since she’s already suffered from two miscarriages. Anyway, all the best to her and her family.
