Last night was apparently the part one of the season finale of American Voice Factor or whatever it’s called, and someone won something because they could sing, or maybe not? I don’t know. I’ve given up on these kinds of shows. Anyway, LeAnn Rimes made an appearance to help thirteen-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar perform her song, “How Do I Live,” and LeAnn ate total ass. Take a look:
You know things are bad when the 13-year-old girl is giving you a look that says, “Bitch, your unprofessional ass needs to shape up or I will smack the gin off your bony chin.” So of course, here’s LeAnn Rimes denying she was drunk by throwing the little girl under the bus. Via TMZ …
LeAnn believes Carly Rose Sonenclar was very nervous and had difficulty with some of the notes and she was doing her best to help her get through it. LeAnn’s lawyer, Larry Stein, who spoke with LeAnn a few minutes ago, tells TMZ “LeAnn was not performing the way she would normally perform, because she was on stage with a young girl.” LeAnn says she does not understand why people believe she was drunk. Stein has a theory: “There have been a lot of untrue things said by others and it feeds into this sort of thing.” One mystery remains — we found out LeAnn made a plate of food backstage and spilled it everywhere. Stein told us he didn’t know anything about that, but LeAnn insists she was stone cold sober.
First, really? You were helping her get through the song by stepping all over her performance, stumbling around and failing to get the basic timing down? Okay. And you really can’t see why anyone would think you were drunk? Okay.
