It has been a little over two weeks since Glee star Cory Monteith unexpectedly passed away, and his girlfriend Lea Michele has been taking time to herself to mourn his sudden death. Well, the good news is that after taking time to process things with friends and family, Lea is finally well enough to start going public, and posted her first message on her Twitter account about Cory’s untimely death.

Look, I’m sure there are plenty of people out there going, “It’s just Twitter who cares nyeh myeh nyeh.” Believe me, as someone who’s gone through this, all I can say is that there’s no “right” way to mourn. She’s not hurting herself or others and by the looks of it, she’s slowly returning to her old self, and the fact that she’s strong enough to publicly talk about this is encouraging. That’s a pretty good sign. Let her deal with this in her own way, because after everything else, she at least deserves that.
