Remember how Lea Michele basically blew off soon-to-be Oscar contender Hailee Steinfeld when she tried to get an autograph from the Glee star? Well, it turns out it’s all a production assistant’s fault! Well, it is if you listen to Lea Michele, anyway.
Though it wasn’t her fault, the “Glee” star does feel bad about the incident.
Michele tells Gossip Cop exclusively: “I heard Hailee was upset and I feel terrible. The ‘Glee’ schedule is so jam-packed that the PA probably pulled me so that I wouldn’t be late to set. I never meant to hurt her feelings. She’s an extraordinary talent and I look forward to meeting her one day.” SOURCE
This whole thing might be borderline believable if it weren’t for the fact that (A) There are plenty of other stories of stars taking all of five seconds to sign their name on a piece of paper, and (B) Pretty much every story out their about Lea Michele is basically about how she’s a gigantic diva and an insufferable bitch.
