hey hey! this past week i picked up english rapper lady sovereign‘s new album jigsaw and i’m freaking out over it … i LOVE it! (i also liked her debut album from back ’06 called public warning) my only complaint about the album is how short it is – clocking in at like 35 minutes but it’s totally solid! below is the video for her new kick-ass single so human which borrows from the cure‘s song close to me – on may 26th she’s playing at los angeles’ el rey theatre – i can’t wait to see lady sovereign do her thing live – i think it’s going to be a killer show!
so i guess everyone is getting ready for easter sunday tomorrow – i’m not doing anything special – just relaxing & catching up on some work – you certainly won’t catch me at church tomorrow – i haven’t been in years – religion is so not my thing (i consider myself a recovering catholic – leaning towards being agnostic) tonight i’m going to watch slumdog millionaire on blu-ray – i already saw it but i’m really excited to see it again (and i can’t forget to tune in for saturday night live later on – cutie pie zac efron is the host – he’s so dreamy – le sigh) popbytes over & out for tonight … xoxo
