Over the weekend, Lady Gaga had a huge falling out with her former friend / evil leprechaun demon Perez Hilton over … something. There are a lot of reasons to dislike Perez. Just pick one. Anyway, at one point over the weekend, Perez was apartment hunting in NYC and supposedly went to look at one in Gaga’s building, which is a pretty weird coincidence. It was enough to push Gaga’s buttons, apparently, and she accused Perez of stalking her via Twitter. NME reports …
When a fan claimed that Hilton was at the singer’s apartment building in New York, Gaga tweeted angrily at Hilton: “STAY AWAY FROM ME + MY FAMILY YOU ARE SICK TRYING TO RENT AN APARTMENT IN MY BUILDING TO STALK ME. LEAVE ME ALONE!!!”
She then posted the following tweet, which has also now been deleted: “DO I NEED TO BE SHOT IT IN THE HEAD FOR PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND THAT HIM AND EVERYONE ELSE THAT HARASSES ME HAS GONE TOO FAR? IM A HUMAN BEING.”
Gaga had previously hit out at Hilton on Twitter on Friday (August 16), claiming he mocked her hip injury earlier this year by sending her a picture showing Madonna pointing a gun at her head while Gaga is confined to a wheelchair.
If I have to choose between Gaga and bridge-dwelling troll beast, I’m siding with Gaga. Yes, I don’t always agree with what she does, and sometimes I think her publicity stunts are pretty annoying, but we have to remember: Perez Hilton is just the worst. That and he’s a hack writer who made it big by appealing to the lowest common denominator. Can’t forget that.
