While most people who are unceremoniously divorced by Kim Kardashian after only 72 days of marriage would be happy to just squeeze as much money out of her as they can, Kris Humphries has decided to give back to the people, by turning down a $7 Million pay day in favor of making Kim admit that the whole wedding was basically just a big sham put together for the sake of a reality TV show. Via Page Six:
A friend of Humphries told us, “Kim’s camp is depicting him as money-hungry, but in fact he turned down a $7 million settlement. Her camp is putting out stories about ‘Kim’s divorce hell’ hoping he’ll cave in, but he won’t.
“Kris wants Kim to admit to fraud, to admit the whole thing was staged for publicity, to make a public apology to him because he really wanted a marriage,” our insider said.
Humphries and his camp are furious at what they claim is a campaign by Team Kim to attack him in the press. One friend added, “They are trying to spin Kim as the victim, but Kris isn’t going to stand for it.”
Dear bitter, unhappily married people: you know that feeling you get when you win an argument with your spouse that’s been bugging you for ever and you can just bask in the glow of being right? Well, apparently that feeling is WAY better than having $7 Million. And now you know.
