So Occupy Wall Street has been running strong for something like well over a month now, and despite your personal feelings about how the protesters are getting the message across, you can’t deny that the message that every person deserves an equal say in matters of representative politics rather than an Animal Farm-style “rich people are more equal than others” just makes more sense. So who better to talk about this than Kim Kardashian, a multi-millionaire who doesn’t actually do anything. Here are her sweet pearls of wisdom, courtesy of the Wall Street Journal:
The Wall Street Journal ran into Kim Kardashian at Denise Rich’s “Angel Ball” this week, where she was chatting with mogul Russell Simmons and actor Stephen Baldwin. Simmons brought up the “Occupy Wall Street” protests in Kardashian’s presence, saying he’s been down there “every single day.” Kardashian noticed dessert had been served. “Ohhhh,” she cooed. “That cake looks so good.” When prodded, Kardashian told the Journal she’s been filming a new season of her reality show (Kourtney and Kim Take New York) and she has paid attention to the protests, thank you very much. It might even pop up in a storyline on her show! (“Maybe,” she said, with a question mark at the end of the word, when we asked.)
Wow, she really put a lot of thought and insight into that one. Clearly, it’s this sharp mind that allowed her to create the visionary Keeping Up with the Kardashians, which boasts such masterful and rich storylines as “that one time Kim lost her earrings” and “Kim screams about her psoriasis” Bravo, Kim!
