A few weeks ago I attended an intimate performance put on by k.d. lang and the Siss Boom Bang, hosted by public radio station KCRW‘s (89.9) Anne Litt held at Apogee’s Berkeley St. Studios under the technical direction of music producer and engineer Bob Clearmountain. k.d. and the band performed songs from their new album, Sing It Loud, which you all must check out! I’ve always been a fan of Ms. Lang, but after seeing her live, I was literally blown away! She has the most amazing voice, and it was beyond incredible to hear her use it up close and personal.
