I kept wondering when Katy Perry would get around to releasing “This Is How We Do” as a single off Prism–months ago when I first heard the upbeat track, hit was written all over it plus I felt it had strong potential to compete for the coveted title of pop song of the summer. Last week “This Is How We Do” finally got the music video treatment (after becoming Prism‘s fifth official single) and it’s so much fun–a perfectly mixed bag of colorful and campy scenes combine to bring this pop gem to life (watch the clever lyric video below too). The song definitely has a carefree party anthem vibe works well during the summer months, I really hope this turns out to be yet another number one single that Ms. Perry (currently on her Prismatic World Tour) can add to her record-breaking collection.
