Kanye West allegedly attacked a photographer

Kanye West

Last week was as slow a news week as we’ve seen in months, to the point where I literally had to talk about how Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were not married and weren’t planning on it anytime soon. Dark times, they was. Anyway, over the weekend everyone must have realized how deathly boring they were being, because over the weekend, Kanye “allegedly” attacked a photographer (the very same one Britney Spears attacked with an umbrella back in 2007) and “allegedly” put him in a headlock while a bunch of surrounding photographers “allegedly” caught the whole thing on film. Now TMZ is reporting that Kanye is now a felony suspect in the case …

The victim wants to press charges against Kanye … law enforcement sources tell TMZ. What’s more, our sources say he’s been interviewed by cops and they’ve determined he did indeed suffer injuries during the attack. Cops will refer the case to the D.A. as a felony attempted robbery and not a battery case. The routine is to go after the suspect for the most serious charge.

Seriously, if you’re going to “allegedly” snap and attack someone, why would you do so in front of a bunch of people documenting everything that’s happening? For a guy who claims to be the voice of this generation, he has remarkably little foresight. Actually, that would fully explain why he thinks he’s the voice of our generation. Sometimes you just have to sound the whole thing out before it makes sense.
