good evening! i’ve been anxiously awaiting tonight’s fever ray show ever since i posted the video for the single when i grow up from karin dreijer andersson‘s (one-half of the knife) side project back in march! the self-titled debut album is one of my fave releases from this year – the electronic-soaked music is slightly spooky and haunting – and karin’s vocals are quite unique and quirky – i expect to be covered in goosebumps tonight! from what i’ve read about the other shows (here and here) it’s going to be a wicked night filled with lasers, smoke, vintage lamps, and bongos! (sadly tonight is the last stop on the US tour – then she’s off to play dates in europe) below is the latest video for the song seven and features an elderly lady lip syncing to the chilly vocals – an incredibly beautiful & eerie video! i’ll try to twitter updates from the show – stay tuned! popbytes over & out for now … xoxo
