Hilary Duff sat down with Ellen DeGeneres to chat about life and how fabulous it is to be pregnant with NHL star Mike Comrie‘s kid. The actress / singer / designer / author / hockey wife revealed she’s having a boy on The Ellen Show today. Aside from being pretty down to earth and respectable, (seriously, how many times have you seen her on this site? Exactly.) she really seems to be keeping her shit together. Probably my favourite part of the interview was when Ellen commented that Hillary was very traditional about the whole thing … engagement, marriage THEN a baby, to which Hillary responded, “Like a lady.” Subtle amounts of passive-aggressiveness like that would be GOLD on reality TV, like perhaps Real Housewives?
Duff told the story of how she told her husband about the little genetically blessed bundle of joy, “… he was in the shower and I just held up the test and I was like, ‘Oh my God.’ And he was like, ‘Ahh!’ He was soaking wet.” Can we just take a minute to visualize that? Aaaaand we’re back.
You know, I hate to bring up old rivalries that are completely spun by the media to seem like they’re something more than they are, but in the case of Hilary vs. LiLo, I think the clear winner is Hilary. Not so much from a blogger’s point of view, cause come on … Lindsay Lohan is like Christmas everyday, she’s always fucking up. And the less said about Aaron Carter, the better.
