Now that Lindsay Lohan‘s out of jail and in rehab, professional stage-mother/enabler Dina Lohan is out in full force to make sure that everyone knows it was the California court system‘s fault and in no way her own fault.
Dina Lohan, during an often tense interview with NBC Today show co-host Matt Lauer on Friday (watch it below), said her daughter was doing “wonderfully” after 14 days in jail and lashed out at California Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel, who put the actress there.
[…] “As a parent, you have to let her go a little bit,” she said. “When she went out to Los Angeles when she was 19, I had to let her go and let her live and fall and fail and survive. Without failure, there’s no success. I was there in close proximity, but you can’t make your child not go out and go to a club and not get behind the wheel of a car. I certainly don’t condone any of that behavior.” SOURCE
Ummmmm … WHAT?! You are her MOTHER for God’s sake, it is your JOB to make sure she doesn’t go out into the world and pull this kind of shit. Yes, after a while you have to let her make her own mistakes, but Jesus wept, the way you act around her, you might as well have stuck a bag of coke in her hand, put her behind the wheel of a stolen car, then kissed her on the forehead. I guess what I’m trying to say is that you are a complete and total failure as a mother … Oh darn, when did I get on this soapbox? Quick! Somebody make a funny about how Lindsay is a drug addict!
